What France destroyed

Paul Johnson, Historian (WSJ): We have to face the ugly fact: Internationalism--the principle of collective security and the attempt to regulate the world through representative bodies--has been dealt a vicious blow by Mr. Chirac's bid to present himself as a world statesman, whatever the cost to the world. Chirac has managed to destroy the UN, NATO, and EU in his immoral effort to preserve the Butcher of Baghdad. [this item]

Protecting Japan with deterrent power against North Korea

What took you so long?

Ajami Saadoun Khlis, whose son and brother were executed under the Saddam regime, sobbed like a child...: You just arrived. You're late. What took you so long? God help you become victorious. I want to say hello to Bush, to shake his hand. We came out of the grave. [via The Guardian]

As similar heart-wrenching stories emerge, I sincerely hope the Western pacifists will apologize and realize that they have effectively been supporters of Saddam's Hell in Iraq: the systematic oppression, torture, and murder of millions of innocents. Will they apologize? will they praise the US- and UK-led coalition of 45 countries who have taken on the responsibility to finally liberate Iraq? will they condemn the immoral regimes who have sought to preserve Saddam in power in the last 12 years, and more particularly in the last 6 months? will they descend by the millions in the streets of our major cities to demonstrate their joy at witnessing the end of such an evil regime? [this item]
