Mecca and Tehran are at the heart of Islamofascism -- just as Berlin was at the heart of Nazism. Kabul and Baghdad were major arteries for Islamofascism, but not the heart. It is the heart that must be struck.

We can hope (a little) that the coming students' strike (in July) will topple the Iranian theocrats and allow freedom and mankind to bloom in Persia. For Saudi Arabia, the solution unfortunately cannot be indigenous, because they are too far gone already and there is no local opposition possible. None. Yemen will probably fall of its own weight after the House of Saud is eliminated. Unfortunately, Pakistan will remain a danger for a long time.

The recent Bush initiative to bring free trade to the Middle East will have no impact whatsoever on the Saudi kleptocrats. A few Arab countries may progress to the economic level of Latin America w/in 20-30 years, at best. These are the sad consequences of an ideology/religion dedicated to enslavement, jihad, and love of death over the course of the last 13 centuries.
