Silvio Berlusconi, Primer Minister of Italy, in response to French criticism of his decision not to meet Palestinian terrorist leaders during a recent trip to Israel: They missed a good opportunity to shut up. French Foreign Minister Dominique Galouzeau [whose family bought the pseudo-aristocratic name "de Villepin"] said this week that Berlusconi had not satisfied the European position by holding talks only with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon during his June 9 visit to Jerusalem. The French government is apparently convinced that the European Union is a group of countries that strictly follow orders emanating from Paris; worse yet, they believe that terrorists should be treated just like normal people: smile, shake hands, talk. 

Novosti: The archives of Communist International, or Comintern, an early twentieth-century umbrella organization of communist parties from different countries, is going digital. ... Comintern was created in 1919 on the initiative of Soviet Russia and existed until 1943. The records of the secretive group were classified and researchers could not access them until after 1991, when the Soviet Union had ceased to exist. Since then, the archive has been stored in Russia. Electronically, it will be available to researchers everywhere. Comintern was an organisation devoted to enslaving all of mankind under communism. Tens of millions were killed by communist regimes mainly in Soviet Russia, Eastern Europe, Cambodia, and Red China. Most notably, communist slavery and murderous tyrants are still in place in North Korea, Zimbabwe, Cuba, and Red China.
