The Capture of Saddam Hussein, Murderous Tyrant
Wonderful news. We just heard that Saddam has been captured (first at a cybercafé where we checked our email and websites, second on TV in our hotel room, through BBC World).
What is bizarre is that we heard absolutely nothing while spending the day and evening in the streets of Marrakech. The people of Morocco do not seem to share in the joy of Iraqis following the capture of a hated tyrant. No candies or treats distributed in the street, for instance. No ululating.
