Give me liberty, or give me death!
Today we party for one of the most important political documents in human history, the blueprint for the United States of America. By action of Second Continental Congress, July 4, 1776, the unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America:
... We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness — That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed ...The Constitution and Bill of Rights are its magnificent embodiment and the architecture of the nation.
I refer every year to a classical revolutionary speech in order to properly commemorate and celebrate Independence Day:
