To Whom It May Concern:

All available evidence now conclusively demonstrates that CBS has propagated lies to the American people based on forged documents. As I am writing this, I notice that your website maintains that the forged documents are somehow "true" — while your employee Dan Rather gave an interview to CNN this morning where he brazenly denies the forgeries.

I am now expecting CBS to promptly air a full 60 minutes prime-time segment to apologize to the American people, retract your smears of President Bush, list the people who are being fired for gross misconduct (and possibly criminal conspiracy), as well as a clear description of who provided the forged documents to CBS. Nothing less will do.

Unless such events take place, it will be my obligation to always and constantly remind everybody around me that: CBS has presented forged documents in an attempt to manipulate a presidential election, refuses to apologize for it, and protects the perpetrators.

The choice is yours.

Most people are aware of Kerry's Vietnam activities, ranging from lying to obtain his medals to accusing all US soldiers of war crimes. Now we have the recent forgery used by CBS in an attempt to support Kerry by smearing President Bush. What does this add up to?

Why would President Bush agree to hold debates with a known liar, in a forum created by people willing to knowingly spread forgeries in support of that liar? Further, should the latest rumor be confirmed that CBS received these forgeries directly from the Kerry Campaign, it would be highly moral for Bush to make a public statement announcing that he refuses to participate in a debate with Kerry because of these forgeries. Men of integrity have nothing to gain, and everything to lose, by promoting an appearance of respect for the dishonest, the vulgar, the criminal.

There is a War going on, and the Commander-in-Chief has better things to do than waste time pretending to have a decent conversation with despicable liars and criminals (yes, forgery is a crime, and knowingly spreading forgeries is a crime too).
