Is this the source of the CBS forgeries?
What may be evidence of the source for the CBS/RatherGate forgeries is in a comment posted on a weblog by one "Bill Burkett" on 2004-Aug-14. The details in that comment seem to indicate that it was indeed Mr Burkett writing about his own medical condition (which is apparently a known reason for his hatred of President Bush). One would have to verify the logs of that website/blog to be certain (IP number, actual date and time, etc.). And maybe ask Mr Burkett himself.
