Tutorial: Using FrontPage with Radio Weblogs

How do I get text to wrap around my images

Q. How do I get text to wrap around my images?

A. Although FrontPage does not have all the power of a traditional desktop publishing program, there are a few ways you can accomplish this.

Method #1:

  1. Right-click on your image.

  2. Choose Picture Properties from the menu (in FrontPage 98 this will be called Image Properties).

  3. Click on the Appearance Tab.

  4. Set the Alignment to the desired location of the image.

  5. Change the values of the Horizontal and Vertical spacing to control the space around the text and the image.

  6. Click Ok.

  7. On your screen you will see a square box with an arrow inside of it near the image.  Drag the arrow to the spot in your text where you want the image to wrap.

Method #2:

  1. Create a single cell table.

  2. Insert your image into the table.

  3. Right-click on the table.

  4. Choose Table Properties.

  5. Under Layout set the Float property to the desired direction of the image.
