Why are my links pointing to my Hard Drive
Q. Why are my links pointing to my Hard Drive?
A. In order to insure that all of your links work properly, make sure to import all of your files and images into your web before linking to them.

Change to Folder View.

Click on the folder where you want to import your files to.

Choose File, Import from the menu.

Choose Add File or Add Folder (to import an entire folder).

Browse to the location on your Hard Drive where your files or images are located.

Select the file and choose Open then click Ok.
Once you've imported your files or images:
For Text Links:

Switch to Page View.
-
Highlight the text where you want to create a link.

Choose Insert, Hyperlink (or click on the Hyperlink icon).

In the Look In box, browse to the location in your web that contains the file you want to link to.

Choose the file and click Ok.
For Images:

Switch to Page View.
-
Click your cursor at the location where you want to insert the image.

Choose Insert, Picture (for FrontPage 98 the option will say Image), from File.

In the Look In box, browse to the location in your web that contains the image you want to insert.

Choose the file and click Ok.
