By the way...for those who love Macintosh's.....you can even connect those machines to a Small Business Server:

This from the SBS public newsgroup:

Select a range of IPs for the Macs (say, 10.0.0.230 to 10.0.0.240).  Then assign the Mac workstations static IPs from this range.  Point the Mac gateways to the SBS server's IP address.  Add the Mac IP range as a new exclusion in the DHCP (SBS Scope) address pool.  You should probably stop and then restart the DHCP service also.  Then reboot the Macs.
