If you happen to be reading this and still running Windows 95 - do yourself a favor an upgrade to a new computer and a new operating system. Windows XP has a lot of little things that just make you go.....oooh I like that.  Like the fact that as your system try gets filled up....it hides what you are not using. But....get Windows XP professional version...it will connect to the Small Business Server product or any Windows server product.  The Windows XP home cannot connect to a domain [i.e. server].    9:29:54 PM     comment To patch or not to patch....that is the question......if it ain't broke..... Typically in small offices, once the operating system of a computer is installed, there is no further upgrades on that operating system.  If you have a computer, and you don't know what Windows update is or have never used it, you are doing yourself a disservice, potentially exposing yourself to security risks and in general not doing your duty as a cybercitizen.  Stop blaming Microsoft for making software with security holes.  You want them to keep making software that is backwards compatible with everything you've ever owned on your computer, then you have the responsibility to install patches as needed.
