According to the EE Times: Intel wants to turn PCs into wireless LAN access points. What they *don't say* is that the $100 you save on a wireless base station is spent on the PC and Windows instead.  Gee, I think I want some half-there base station hardware that only works with a specific PC/version of Windows.  WinModems anyone?  No thanks.
