Letter From the Editor
Helene:
I tried kissing my shoulder. Ended up dislocated my elbow. Seriously, thanks for your kind words. But I excel at letting mice elf drift with the tide. But I need to apply a little yang sauce to my yin juice. Time to shake things up. For the basest of reasons: to pay my way through the thrill ride of life. Hopefully adding value and meaning as I go, at the very least striving to do no harm, but I have to move forward now to move on. And I've been thinking about these things for some time now. A year or more. One more hint as to how much inertia I possess. It's time.
I went grocery shopping tonight. Tomorrow morning at 6 am I will be doing laundry, then to my meeting, then I am in for the weekend. Spring cleaning in the house, some more maintenance on the PC, trying to get everything squared a way for the summer. My four hours a week of TV viewing will soon be at an end; I will strive to be TV free through the fall. Stopped by the library, they had copies of the new Tom Robbins novel _Villa Incognito_. He wrote _Even Cowgirls Get the Blues_, and is one of my favorite writers. He only publishes once every 3 years or so, so YIPEE YAHOO YEEHAH!!!
I've laid some important groundwork. Stopped using, made strides in aquiring better eating habits. This season should see me shed some pounds. In order to use my talent as a code slinger, I need to learn a new language and some new object-oriented, client/servery tricks. I can do thisthing , the only thing stopping me is me. I am not being hard on myself, It's time to get busy. In the words of the great James Brown, I'm ready to get into it!
Make no mistake about it, I am ultimately not in control of anything except my responses and reactions, but I can ride the wave of what is, try to go with the flow, work with it, dance with it, and see what interesting phenomena arise.
Believe it or not, this is going to be my blog entry for today! Talk to you later, buddy.
