Beverly-based Groove Networks, which creates peer-to-peer collaboration software, is enabling the swarm approach in commercial and government clients. The medical coordinator for Civil Military Operations in Iraq, for example, is using Groove software to swarm a variety of relief agencies, like the Red Cross and Save the Children, around the protection and care of noncombatants.
