Today, Jabber.org is online, and Lawrence has patched Radio according to my latest bug report.
So this should work ... Well, is it ? ...

Well, Jabber.org is offline, so it'll have to wait.
9/4/02; 1:10:07 PM by MB --Instant Outlining with IM protocols
I've downloaded the latest updates for Jabber, and subscribed to my own instant outline.
Let's see if I receive a notification for this update...
Ok, it didn't work, because I had not corrected espressoCup with the proper Jabber host parameter
Let's try again

I've just downloaded a Jabber client (PSI) and opened an account on Jabber.org
Next I've enabled the Jabber notification in Radio preferences.
Last step for now, I've unsubscribed from Dave and Jake's i/os, and resubscribed by clicking on their new OPML mug icons.
Let's see what is going to happen.
I obviously have to rework on my espressoCup macro.

Apparently, Matt has nailed the second installation bug :-)
s l a m's liveTopics master index is now up to date.
Further testing will have to wait until tomorrow...
6/24/02; 8:33:38 AM by MB -- Beta testing liveTopics with Matt
I'm currently running tests of Matt Mower's übercool liveTopics tool.
We are both narrating our work in our instant outlines.
So far, I've been able to publish a first post with a liveTopic keyword.
The keyword appears in the see also section, below the post, on s l a m's home page.
The nice thing is, if I decide to edit the post using my local home page, liveTopics automatically retrieves the keyword for me, and adds the keyword to a topic list accessible via a select type drop down menu. Very cool.
On the public home page, clicking the keyword opens a master index page, rendered with activeRenderer, which displays a list of all keywords, with a cross reference index to all posts that include those keywords. Even cooler.
Problem is, on s l a m so far, the master index page is empty. It does work on Matt's site though.
Matt is restoring webEdit to his copy of Radio, so that we can both work on the same set of sources, courtesy of eVectors and Paolo Valdemarin.
He then has to synchronize his master version of the code with the server at updates.xml-rpc-it.
And I need the authorization to access and modify his root.

I've set up an OPML/XSLT rendering demo on s l a m.
