Nostalgia... Every so often they have "Heavy Metal" on TV. Early 80's animation in an R rated fashion. Not the best but amusing none-the-less. If you're into late 70's rock and nude/semi-nude cartoon women. This is before anime was even a blip on the radar screen so it's a bit different. I think this is the first time I've seen it uncut.... For some reason a number of SCTV people did many of the voices - John Candy, Harold Ramis, Eugene Levy, Joe Flaherty are the ones I recognize. ImDb.com says it was made in Canada - that explains it. The followup 'Heavy Metal 2000' apparently only shares the name... but I haven't seen it so I'm not sure about that. 4:58:22 AM    Notes [] Insomnia? Or just bad sleeping habits? I went to bed at 9PM Friday, woke up at 2AM, went back to bed at 6AM, woke up at 1PM... and can't get to sleep (thought I nodded off a couple times earlier...) ARGH!!! 4:45:27 AM    Notes [] What's going on? Yes, I have started working on Part 10 of my NaNoWriMo fic. What happened to parts 2 thru 9? No idea. I think I'm going to write it in a non-linear fashion. Since I'm not posting it anywhere until it (hopefully) is finished the order I write it shouldn't matter except for plotting purposes. I want it to be done in 2 weeks... before I head off for Thanksgiving... but at the current rate I'll be lucky to finish it at all by the 30th. 4:43:20 AM    Notes []
