Okay...
Last two days... instead of writing... of the fic kind... I've been building a list of places in and around Sunnydale... by reading transcripts, watching episodes, an actual script (or something resembling one on the Season 2 DVD), and from memory.
I think it's going to be an all summer thing... and I might need to start keeping track of which episodes I've looked at...
The transcripts don't have a lot of scenery detail. The scripts only have major setting info (building this, cemetery that.)
The script for "What's My Line - Pt. I" on the Season 2 DVD says Kendra is 17. So she was actually older than Buffy. Assuming that counts as canon.
Note: One esteemed canonologist has pointed out to me that Kendra's "age" in that script is probably just a 'stage direction' for the people who hire the actors for a particular episode and should not be taken as anything resembling canon. Okay. I understand the reasoning (Her age is never mentioned on screen- verbally or visually).
