Well, it finally happened.
Traded in the red car ( a 1994 BMW 530i - 5 speed manual, V8, etc.) for a smaller car (also a 5 speed manual, red, 4DR BMW (a 2001 325i))
The gas mileage was getting to me. And it was getting too close to the 200K mile mark. Next summer it would have needed several arms and a leg's worth of maintenance work done on it.
Of course, the 325i isn't perfect. It also needs work (the interior is a bit ragged and its needs approx. $1 1/2K worth of maintenance.)
