For the Benefit of Ms. Kite

(BtVS/Gilmore Girls )

My first attempt at the old "When I Woke Up" challenge. So don't expect a lot of originality. Inspired by an excellent Gilmore Girls/Stargate crossover - though not resembling it in any way.

Haven't you ever wondered why fic writers always stick Buffy together with the older Gilmore? Unless you seriously play around with the timelines, isn't Rory a closer fit age-wise?

I did. So -- plot? Buffy, Rory, Vegas.

Let's see what happens.

Fair warning - I hadn't watched Gilmore Girls in years when I started this (I'm now into the 4th season) so I'm relying on transcripts and etc. And exposure to GG fan fiction isn't going to help. So it's very possible characterizations might be a bit off at times.
