SUMMARY:	A Third Slayer Tale
SPOILERS:	All seasons of BtVS and Highlander. HP - Post OotP.

"Did you learn anything from the museum? Other than..." Amanda said, alluding to Fann's breakdown earlier that afternoon.

"What?" Fann looked over at her from the loveseat where she'd been sitting, her feet tucked under her knees, compulsively juggling several small rubber throwing stars she'd found.

[what about that business card?]

Opening the display case without setting off the alarms wasn't the hard part of the job. Fan had it opened in less than a minute and their target swapped with the look-a-like Amanda had found in an antique shop earlier that week. The hard part was arranging for the museum guards to be occupied while she retrieved the sword and Amanda repeated her actions with the decoy in a wing on the other side of the museum.

It was a clever idea, or so Amanda claimed, though Fan suspected the clever part was turning a simple retrieval into a bit of sleight of hand. A casual visitor would never suspect that one or more of the museum's swords was missing. Taking more than one sword from the museum should confuse the issue, or so Amanda hoped.

To deal with the guards, they'd snuck in the night before and placed several knockout bombs in strategic locations. If all went well they would have thirty minutes to get to the swords and back out.

[The sword -- they need a magic-neutral thing to wrap it in]

[Death Eaters attack them outside the museum (Because they can't apparate into it?)... they are rescued by Tonks and? ]

• Don't expect this part to ever be finished.
• No one in this part, except Fann and Amanda know Fann is a slayer. (Duncan, Methos, Joe Dawson, and Giles know but they don't appear here.) The Wizards think she is a different kind of magical being, one of the Sidhe. Neither Harry Potter, Ginny, Ron, or Hermione will appear. They are busy going to school. Ginny (and Buffy) doesn't meet Amanda until "Girl in a Bar". Only older members of the Order of the Phoenix MIGHT appear in this part.
