Just got back from the dentist of doom.  He lanced my gums again and re-opened the tooth....  He kept me on the same antibiotics though so I think it might all be for naught.

From the New York Times:  How A Tax On Cigarettes Can Help The Taxed.  This is seriously disgusting to me and it's not just because I'm a smoker.  Why should I pay more money for my cigarettes to help pay for wel-fare and the various other government programs that I don't support in the least?  Do they raise the price of gasoline to make smoking area's for me?  No, in fact they constantly strive to reduce the number of places I can smoke.  If you're going to tax then tax everyone at an equal rate.  I use less government services than your average American and somehow yet again I get screwed into paying for more of it.    This actually brings to me a huge rant and I think it'll be the topic of the next philosophy section rant if I can remember it.

From Chris Pirillo, Blogrolling.  It's an automated script to quickly write the code for a blogrolling list.  It's claimed to work with all popular blogging software.  Seems like a pretty nice thing if you're too lazy to update your own template.

Ok this is getting absolutely rediculous.  After going to the dentist on Friday to have the tooth closed because the infection was on the run the fun starts again.  Sat I couldn't decide if the swelling was starting to get worse again or not.  I tried to sleep last night but couldn't because the pressure was too much on that side of my face.  When I looked in the mirror this morning the swelling was right back up to where it was this time last week.  I called the dentist office and had them call my dentist's house.  They woke him out of bed and now I have to go in at 11 to have the tooth re-opened yet again to start draining the infection.  He can't believe and neither can I that the antibiotic hasn't killed this damn infection.  This wouldn't be half as serious except that this infection could very easily get out of control and spread to my brain killing me.  Now I'm not so sure with all the pain I've been in through the last week that death would be so bad but certain people who care about me seem to think otherwise so it sounds like another trek to the dentist and start this whole damn routine over again.  I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Brush your teeth!
