Wow...it's been over a month. Maybe it's time I come back and say Hello!
After a month of it I love work. I couldn't have found a better place to earn my money. The people are great and the job is both mentally and physically challenging. I could use a little better pay but I'm content with it for now. Hopefully they'll hire me after the summer for full time. The benefits would be nice and so would the pay increase and the two weeks of vacation right off the bat. So I'm happy with that.
I pretty much withdrew from my social life as it was. I stay at home a lot now and enjoy the solitude. I'm finally realizing in a way that I didn't before that I don't need people to make me who I am. I'm happier than I have been in years. I have a good job that I'm productive at. I have a person I love very much in my life. I discovered who my real friends were and everything is pretty good now. No more of that I wanna die bullshit or life sucks or any of that crap. It was all my own doing and now I'm un-doing it.
Oh and I bought an Xbox. Sooooooo good. Halo....'nuff said.
