Don Marquis. "When a man tells you that he got rich through hard work, ask him: 'Whose?'" [Adam Curry: Adam Curry's Weblog] This is especially true these days. The government is making billions off of others work. Companies are using the government to control competition. I think it's time we all re-read Ayn Rand's words "I swear by my life, and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine."

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus. "If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment." [Adam Curry: Adam Curry's Weblog] This involves thinking, and it's becoming very apparent what the United States and indeed the World thinks about that..it's not good.
