I'm back!

Well I'm back at least for a little while. I'm sure I can dig up stuff to post about for at least three or four days before I lapse back into silence.

Since I'm updating the other page I figure I might as well update this one too.

My life is up and down right now. As far as work goes I'm not really liking it at all. I don't want to work in the manufacturing world anymore. I've done my stint and seen where things are heading and I'm not really pleased. I would much rather prefer to work in the technology side of the equation. That being said I have no clue how I'm going to do it. Using computers all day and reading all the latest news is one thing but actually being involved of all it takes more than just some interest I think. I could accept going back in to the networking field if the pay was right but I'd rather do something else. Obviously what I'd like most is to work for Microsoft but I'm thinking my chances are pretty slim on that. I'm not sure exactly what I could offer them except undying loyalty. So basicly I have to figure out what kind of education I need to get where I want to go. That might involve a Bachelors in Computer Science or more down that route, or it coiuld involve more specialized training in some piece of software or hardware. Either way I have to figure out how to pay for all of that. Not that I think they are but if anyone from Microsoft is reading this right now I'd love to talk about anything I could do for your company.

But honestly I need to figure out what I'm going to do with my time here on this planet that's going to give me the most satisfaction and a decent living.

Starting up a new section on here figuring maybe it'll get some use.

I try to keep my posts to news items and editorial rants on technology or the world around me. This section is gonna be the more personal stuff, you know, here's a picture of my dog or I talked with a friend and things of that nature. I'm not letting this perculate up to weblogs.com or anything like that. This is prolly not something you want to aggregate because it doesn't have much to do with anything. This is gonna be more the personal journal set to get things off my chest.
