It is improtant to be able to imagine how others will solve the same problem. One thing to remember is that Users in Userland have the pesky habit of being human and refuse to change their habits when pursuing their goals online. Dave not being able to imagine how the rest of us work is part of the problem behind the usability issues of Radio and Manila.

BTW, I use Radio to edit my Manila sites, including the templates and content, as Bryan does. I can't imagine editing the components of a website any other way. [Scripting News]

I enchourage you to start to imagine how things look to the rest of us. Talk to real users. Ask them how they work. Watch them in action.

We know intuitively that with more and richer metadata, we could build more and richer applications. People much smarter than me imagine what it would be like if machines could "reason" about the things described with metadata. I'd love to see those people get the chance to do their experiment. So would Tim Bray, who also thinks the Web is "terribly metadata-thin" and has issued a challenge to produce a killer app for RDF (Resource Description Framework). ... [Jon's Radio]
