I'm taking the plunge: I'm attempting to switch from Internet Explorer to Mozilla. I really like Mozilla - very fast and more friendly than IE. Plus the lizard is very cute.

I had some initial difficulties - I downloaded version 1.2 because I thought it was the current solid version. However, it was problematic:

  • I could not get the Active X plugin to work.
  • I also had issues with "GoogleBar," Mozilla.org's very nice Google Toolbar emulator. I live and die by the Google Toolbar. I would not have made the switch if I could not have my Google Toolbar.

So in a final act of desparation, I dropped back to Mozilla version 1.0.2. Ahhhhh - the Active X plugin worked and my GoogleBar is happily functioning.

One thing Mozilla doesn't seem to have is the WYSIWYG image copy capabilities that IE has. When you right click on an image, there is no "Copy Image" feature. Oh well, I'll just have to type in the HTML.
