My trusty Creative Nomad Zen MP3 player up and died yesterday. Kersplatto. It gave out one last gasp while in the midst of transfering the Garden State soundtrack to my computer at work. sigh...
It would cost me as much moohla to have it repaired as the cost of a new player.
So a new MP3 player is in my future. I am torn between the new 40 G iPod and the brand new Zen Creative Touch.
The new iPod is totally hot and is certainly gets all the press. But I really like the Zen MP3 players. They're extremely well designed and the sound quality is truly superb. So I think a weekend trip to CompUsa is in order - I'll do a "sound off" test between the two players and then make the big decision.
