Yesterday afternoon - as the storm clouds were gathering - I started to feel pretty grim. Just over-the-top weak and wobbly. I came home at 4:00 PM and crawled into bed.
I still felt totally grim this morning and figured that a doctor's visit was probably called for. Fortunately, my doc could fit me in. So, I strapped a snorkle on Henry II and we motored over the doctor's office.
After much discussion, poking, prodding, etc., my doctor feels that I may have some sort of viral thing like a mono relapse or CMV. Or, I could be in the midst of a major Chronic Fatigue Syndrome immune system collapse. I don't have any normal flu like symptoms - just extreme weakness and fatigue. Basically that good ol' mono feeling.
So, doctor's orders are to just rest for several days and we'll wait to see what the blood tests show.
