We're now at the Abbotts for dessert. Entertainingly enough, the Abbotts however are in Mexico. We've appropriated their house for the dessert course. Aren't we great neighbors?!!!

Unfortunately, no pictures from this point forward. My camera battery ran down - I forgot to charge it. sigh...

A very nice dessert wine: d'Arenberg MacLaren Vale The Noble Reisling. A nice and thick late harvest reisling with a bit of spice. d'Arenberg winery is a Slat Rat fav! Some great stuff!

Our pre-salad course entertainment - Alena Gerlek on the sousaphone.

The salad course wine: Rancho Zabaco 2001 Reserve Sauvingnon Blanc - very nice - good acid and grapefruit.

Here's everyone diving into the fondue and wine!

Tonight's appetizer wine:

Treana 2000 Central Coast Mer Soleil Vineyard Marsanne 34% Viognier 66%.

Marvelously sweet but not too sweet and the right amount acid to cut through the sweet. Goes very well with fondue.

Cosentino 1999 "The Novelist" Meritage White Wine.

Very smokey and definitely a blend. Quite good but I like the Treana better
