The Ski Boy and I are busy packing for our little Valdez adventure. Peter and I are both terrible packers - we bring everything we own - even when we try hard not to. And since we're driving down, we really can bring almost everything we own.
For example, we're bringing three bottles of very good red wine. You just can't drink great red wine out of hotel bathroom glasses, so I also packed two large red wine glasses.
The hilarious thing will be when we stop to pick up Mom. She'll walk out of the house with two small handbags that will contain everything she needs for 5 days including elegent evening wear. The light packing gene definitely did not get passed down to me.
