The Ski Boy and I hosted Mom and Lowell for dinner this evening at our humble blue tarp abode. I must say, dinner was the quite the little success. Gourmet magazine strikes again (in case you couldn't tell, it was the cherry issue): Lamb Chops with Cherry Balsamic Sauce and Mint. Fresh corn on the cob (not as easy to come by here in Alaska as Outside) Cherries in Spiced Wine Syrup. The wine we used was a very hearty and fruity Cosentino 2000 Cigar Zin. Great combo! We had a delightful evening and I had great time cooking. I LOVE our new cookware! 9:00:22 PM    comment []
