    Now I've seen what the Gov't can do with good software and I've seen software they bought.  Not sure I'd let them provide me with software.  My experience is those in the civil service aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.  To be fair there are some very sharp people working for us.  I am a tax payer.  There just isn't the same amount of competition found in the public sector.  There are hundreds, if not thousands, of public sector software companies.  There is only one U.S. Gov't.  Read on...

Deep Pockets Win Again...

    This is the battle as I see it.  I read The Reg just for this kind of news.  I don't expect to see this on my evening news show, that's for sure. 

Fair Use advocates silenced by Big Brother. Commerce Dept. doesn't want to hear it [The  Register]

    If you can expose anyone else to the potential restricting laws that will come out of this, please let them know.  Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong (apologies to Dennis Miller).
