The writer of this article sums up the scene and legal ideas about the copyright law extension as best as I've heard. It is sad but true, that althought the extension is likely a bad thing, it is not in and of itself an un-constitutional thing. I agree with the author that the Court is unlikely to make any change. It then falls to the little guy to try and fight the deep pockets and get the Congress to remove the splinter. Ahh, capitalism at it's finest.
