Interesting story in The Guardian about English.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,3604,680424,00.html

Arthur C. Clarke. "The best measure of a man's honesty isn't his income tax return. It's the zero adjust on his bathroom scale." [Quotes of the Day]

Ronald Reagan. "I have left orders to be awakened at any time in case of national emergency, even if I'm in a cabinet meeting." [Quotes of the Day]

Another one of those surreal moments. I submitted my newsletter article for the month, and going back upstairs, one of the people in the smoking corner asked, "So is tomorrow the baseball stadium?"
What can one say to this?

A. Whitney Brown. "I'm not a vegetarian because I love animals. I'm a vegetarian because I hate plants." [Quotes of the Day]
