I can't do steps any more!
No, this isn't some reference to line dancing or country and western, or anything, but rather to the fact that my new glasses are narrower than my old ones. As a result, the gap between the frame and my cheek is bigger than I'm used to, which makes looking down rather odd...

I'd like to say that I hate it when you hear a song and can't get it out of your head, but that wouldn't be quite true. When it's a good song, it's actually quite a good feeling. Anyway, it happened this morning when, listening to Virgin Radio over the internet, I heard 'Birdhouse in your soul' by They Might Be Giants, for the first time in years. I'd forgotten all about this song, so it was just like discovering something that had been lost for ages. What a good song!
...but I wish it didn't stick in my memory quite so much!
