The first morning of the year when I've come to work without a jacket. A
little cool, I'll admit, but nevertheless a very pleasant feeling. It
was also interesting to note the reactions of some of the people I
passed. The Headmaster of the Junior High School, for example, was
audibly surprised when he saw me pass! But what's so surprising about a
short-sleeved shirt, especially when at the weekend I seemed to be the
only person not wearing short sleeves? There seems to be some
distinction made between work and leisure...
