Comment, ramblings and musings... life through the eyes of a Japanologist...   Sunday, July 14, 2002 Speaking of air-conditioning, ironing shirts and so on for tomorrow's business trip was a nightmare this evening (not that ironing shirts isn't always a nightmare, but today was especially bad). Even with the fan on full, it was so hot and humid that I couldn't see because of the sweat in my eyes (urrrgh!)... I had to retreat into my washitsu every ten minutes or so, so I didn't melt completely.      Went into work to sort out the speech. I finally got it done, but then I found myself re-reading the email about the Navy article, and I got all angry again. Not good when there's no air-conditioning...      Breakfast Show Staple Randomhaiku of the day (from The Genuine Haiku Generator) fruits rebloom, kingdoms sobbing, cheaply, foolish bears dazzle, cruel coral It strikes me that swapping the last line of yesterday's haiku with today's might work better.
