Rainmaker

Quotations and things overheard
'To call a man an Oxford man is to pay him the highest compliment that can be paid to a human being.'
William E. Gladstone (1809-1898)

Web sites worthy of mention...
ThinkGeek
A fun site filled with stuff for... well, for geeks. I could spend a fortune here!

Second visit of the term to Kirikushi Elementary School.

Web articles worthy of mention...
I didn't even know that McDonald's wasn't doing as well as before, but apparently shares are at a seven-year low. Anyway, this article has 10 suggestions for the company. They're most applicable to the American market, but the article is an interesting read nevertheless.

It's good not to have much to do in a day. It means I can catch up with the little things that get left undone when I'm busy with more important things. It will be good to have everything up to date again, especially as I have the day off tomorrow (have to use the last day of summer holiday!).
Now, if only I could summon the energy ('courage' might be a better word...) to clear my desk...
