Tomorrow is also Apple's server announcement. A reporter said "I don't quite get why they need to enter a commodity market." To which I responded. "It's not quite a commodity market, there's some stuff that runs on Mac OS X as a server that isn't available on other flavors of Unix and is pretty cool."  [By way of Scripting News]

I knew when Apple bought NeXT and started talking about Macintosh Unix over a PPC architecture that they would start cutting into the IBM RS/6000 AIX over POWER market! Yeah, I wish. Well, good luck Apple! Faint heart ne’er won fair market!
