  Sunday 7 April 2002

At St Cecilia’s church today, the gospel was on Christ’s return, and the power of binding and loosing. The bald priest (this is the first time I had seen him give the homily) spoke of the salvific power of Confession.

I saw the prettiest girl. After Communion, I stood in the back, and she stood there too. I was wondering what to do about this development when my cell phone, which I had not turned off, went off. How unimpressive did I look as I ran out the door? Best not to dwell on it. *Sigh*. But you know I will, huh?
