I am continuing to look over the livejournal thing. Neil Gaiman is in there; so is George Chan. So is Squeak Smalltalk.

Where I met Neil is no longer a smoking pile of ash, but I still haven’t crossed Broadway yet.

I saw George Chan at Pri—CostCo last week with his family, and chose not to intrude.

Ever since Yahoo! stopped e-mail POP access, I’ve been less inclined to work in Smalltalk.

Ha! Look what I found: My LiveJournal   weblog. I could have sworn that I had started it after the World Trade Center incident.

Obviously business was slow then. I am looking at all that text and all I can think of is, wow! I had that much time to write? Oh, wait, I wasn’t writing my daily work-logs then. Oh, wait, I’m not doing that now. Why did I stop off writing? Well, look at all that text—perhaps I started thinking of the thing as obligatory.

Now if only I could remember my password.
