mzone™ avatar is a comprehensive mobile payments platform, enabling the secure storage of value and information in a mobile purse or wallet (macro and micro payments). The mobile wallet enables users to pay for goods and services using a range of payment options including traditional payment methods (credit and debit cards), emerging payment methods (prepaid and post paid billing), and stored value payment methods (currency or loyalty points). If you want to make your applications perform better you might want to take a look at the JavaTM 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SETM Platform), version 1.4.2 Performance White Paper. The parts that interest me the most are the support for the Linux Thread Optimizations and the Light Weight Performance Monitoring included in the JVM as being non-intrusive ... gotta see what that can bring me ;-)
