We Missed You, Jenny. Jenny recounts her hellish PC experience over the past month. Makes my experience of replacing my wife's PC last week seem rather trivial. Must be something in the Illinois air...
Welcome back Jenny. Maybe that effort to christen Saint Isidore of Seville the patron saint of the Internet ain't such a bad idea... at least you'd have someone to pray to. (And he was a librarian!) I think I might be on to something... [tins ::: Rick Klau's weblog]
Jenny's blog is not just for librarians. It's for anyone who wants to begin 'getting it'. It's tech mixed with touch. I'm glad she's back and I too don't want her anywhere near my computers!

Jean Houston. "We all have the extraordinary coded within us, waiting to be released." [Motivational Quotes of the Day]
I first heard this quote in my writing group and it is so powerful and encouraging.
I especially need some encouragement today. Blahhhhh. :-(

Rumsfeld Seeks Congress Vote on Iraq Before U.N. Acts. Congress must authorize the use of force before the U.N. votes, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said today. By The Associated Press. [New York Times: NYT HomePage]
I was listening to Rumsfeld on NPR on my way to work this morning and I was pretty impressed. I don't go for the chest beating mentality anymore but Rumsfeld's arguments for invading Iraq now are persuasive. They've been using biological and chemical WMDs on their own people. They've actively pursued nukes. And though they've agreed to having open inspections, they've proven that they are very good at deception.
It's time.

BonnieWatch. Hi, this is your wake-up call. The latest Bonnie Hunt sitcom is on tonight - 8:30/7:30 p.m. CST on ABC. It's called Life with Bonnie and if past events are any indication, it will be funny but won't be around long so catch it while you can.
Tell me again why my ReplayTV can't access the ABC page for the show? [The Shifted Librarian]
We've got it on our TiVo waiting for us to watch it. That's after we've caught up with watching all the old Sopranos episodes as well as CSI.
Anyways... Bonnie Hunt has always had good shows that never got the ratings they deserve. Watch it and prove them wrong.
