Tivo has completely changed my life. Now there's never "nothing" on TV. I record something like eight hours of shows per day and it soaks up my three hours of entertainment time every evening.

We've had our Tivo for about a year now and could live without it now. Even my 6 year old Tivo's things so we can all watch many episodes of Power Rangers over and over and over...
Our first Tivo died though and we just bought one of the newer ones with 80 hours of capacity. Sweet. This time though we got the extended warranty. The hard disk on our first one died twice. What kind of cheapie hard disk lasts for 6 months?
Despite these problems, we still love it. We watch what we want, when we want. No commercials.
