Day 8 |
Honeymoon - Day Eight
Date: January 18, 2002 So when we woke up, emily was really sore from the wave runner!! So she insisted we hit the hot tub after breakfast. After that, we just laid around because we had already explored all that there was to explore on the ship. Then, we got dressed for our "night out." First, we went to pick up our "Planet Ice" skating show. It was quite interesting and fairly cool. Next, we went to Portofino, the fancy Italian restaurant on the ship - the "reservations only", pay-extra, swanky digs. We had a nice, romantic dinner - a nice way to spend the last night of the cruise. After that , we went to the "farewell" show and then back to the room to pack up our suitcases. It was quite sad to realize the honeymoon was almost over. By the timewe wree done packing and setting our suitcases out in the hall, it was midnight. We set our alarms and went to bed. Though it was a sad day (since it was the last day), we had a great time. A romantic dinner and two shows rounded it off nicely.
