Essentially a pleasant bunch of middle-class professionals, with the aspirations of, I'd guess, very successful cardiac surgeons.'' Gil Sorrentino. When the news is about writers, it is often silly. Why is this? Perhaps the thing the news bearer is purporting to bear is in fact so new, so uneasy to assimilate, as to not be susceptible of unproblematic carriage.
