so i haven't written in awhile. just haven't felt like it. i guess i'm going to bed now. i should try to get a good nights sleep and start off the week positively. hope i can fall asleep. i might check out the tv for a second.

my exam went okay on friday. no perfect score and probably not an A but i hope at least a B. by thursday night i just didn't feel like studying much even though i still stayed up until 2a and studied for a couple hours or so.

this friday i have a gross anatomy test on the muscles and nerves which i now realize will be much harder than the bone test. i have to spend all week studying for that cause i didn't do much this weekend.

friday night i went to the bovine club party out at some barn where they had kegs and bull testicles fried up. i actually didn't even try one though i was prepared to because i think they ran out. i opted for a hot dog instead. left there around 11p and then checked out this girl's party near my house but not too exciting so then we went to rusty's and danced unitl 2a. i went to bed pretty late and then had to meet my lab partners saturday at 10a to work on a presentation. i was 20 min. late but they didn't mind too much. got our work done and then went home.

went to the grocery w/ jonathan where i'm pretty sure i lost $40 cause it was in the bill holder part of my wallet folded up and i'm assuming when i opened my wallet for my atm card the money fell on the floor. i called the grocery when i got home and figured it out but no one turned it in. that really pissed me off! $40 just wasted!!

then i went tailgating w/ jonathan and friends cause kstate was playing usc. very big game cause usc was #11 and kstate #25. just stayed long enough for a cheeseburger and then i had to go park cars at the vet school to raise money for my class. we have to pay for our own graduation: gowns, renting the place, etc. so each class has fundraising options they can take advantage of so we don't have to pay from our pockets. well doing the parking was a big mistake. it's just this empty green area and i had to direct cars where to go and no one wants to listen and they think they know how to park, why do i need to tell them. but then my classmates that aren't doing anything complain cause we're not packing them in good enough: each car is $5. so i was glad when we were done. only took a couple hours and i only was there for one. we made over $1500 which was the most so far this semester so i didn't feel too bad.

then i went home and watched the game on tv. kstate won. i live so close to the stadium if you go outside you hear all the announcements: "kstate on the 10 yard line," and stuff like that.

i didn't want to go to the bars last night but jonathan got me to anyway. we were only out for a few hours i think but it was so crowded. everyone went out last night.

today i did almost nothing. didn't leave the apartment. watched the pats beat the chiefs; pretty good game. then saw triathlon coverage of june's escape from alcatraz. an extremely tough race that maybe i'll do sometime. great to see it on tv for a change.

watched some of a perfect storm, did laundry, put most of my summer clothes away and got out my winter ones. talked to my mom. she's leaving for ireland and france on wednesday for 3 weeks. i wish i was going. talked to diana for a little bit. she wants to come visit for a weekend soon. that would be cool. the boy said he bought a plane ticket for oct. 17th for the weekend so 2 visitors in one month would be nice. it gets pretty boring and old here fast. i can't believe it's not even 2 months yet.

got my sheila divine ep. it's not as good as their full length cd's but still great to hear new stuff from them. i hope they come here, to lawrence at least. that's about an hour from here and where ku is.

that's about it for now.

goodnight

hi billy, i love you!

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!
