hello everybody on this pretty good tuesday.

sorry i haven't posted since friday. i know there's some out there who just LOVE to hear my news. not enough though!!! i want to make the "top 100 most popular weblogs for the day" at some point. everyone spread the word!

so friday after my test i finally tried the ice cream. very rich and creamy but not enough of the peanut butter cup. next time i'll try the espresso one; i heard it's good.

i also went running, got a sub for dinner and went to brian and robin's w/ jonathan to hang out for awhile.

saturday was a pretty big football game but jonathan had to pick his friend up at the airport in KC so he took me there for the day. i've never been other than the airport so he showed me a couple different parts of town. i really liked it actually. much more spread out than boston but lots of shopping on the Plaza kinda like Newbury Street but less of a street feel. also reminded me of SF.

this week rich is coming into KC airport on thursday night so i'll be back there. his flight gets in pretty late and it's 2 hours from manhattan so we're just staying over in KC thursday night.

sunday jonathan and i cleaned up the front room. we finally put my ikea furniture together that didn't fit into my room. it's looks so much better. we watched "40 days and 40 nights" and it was pretty funny, expect for the stupid flower orgasm scene. puke!!

yesterday i was good and went back to lab at 6p for a club meeting and then stayed until 9:30p studying my dog for next wednesday's test. then home to run and in bed by 1:30a i think.

i have an appointment w/ dr. cash on thursday to go over my last lab test that i did bad on. i'm hoping he can give me some tips for studying for this next one.

we got our microanatomy test back. i got 50/50 on the lecture, average was 49 and an 88/100 on the lab part, average 86. so lots of people did really well. i got a 92%. i'm very, very happy since i haven't had an A in a couple weeks and my first test in that class i didn't do so well.

i'm in 3 clubs here and there's 2 meetings tonite: emergency and exotics. they both will have free food but which do i want? exotics is having tacos so i might hit that. i had pizza last night.

oh also on saturday we went to wendy's and i broke down and had FRIES! i gave fries up last new years, well except for lowfat nofat's air fries. go there!! it's on arsenal street in watertown. ask mariana or randy! they know. anyway, i hadn't eaten real fries since 2001 but then i just went and had wendy's. those are my favorite; i dip them in frosty. they were pretty good but they definitely taste more like potato than the ones i'm used to. i don't plan on eating fries again anytime soon but i might be a little more lenient if i'm at wendy's.

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!

This isn't an ad. Amazon.com has a lot of stuff and if you're buying retail chances are they have what you're looking for at a price comparable to or lower than what you'll pay somewhere else. I'll use this space to link to products at Amazon.com that I talk about in my posts or things that are significant to me for some reason. I hope you find all of this useful. By the way, if you purchase through my site I get a little kick back. Thanks!
