yesterday after i got up and wasted some time, jonathan and i went to eat at 'so long saloon.' it was really good. we had the special which was a turkey melt w/ cheese, mushrooms, etc. the waitress was one of the best ever. she hung up my coat and gave me so many refills without me ever asking. then we went to the manhattan mall looking for jeans for jonathan. he didn't get any and then we went to see 'jackass.' jenn said it was funny so i had to go. it was funny and too short.
last night jonathan made spaghetti and we watched 'the shining' and 'the return of the texas chainsaw massacre.' the second was really dumb but i was hoping it'd be scary and it had famous actors in it.
today i went to the mall in topeka looking again for jeans for jonathan. he finally got some and i got two sweaters at old navy w/ this gift card my dad won from pepsi. thanks dad!
i ate dinner at some steak place, timberline, which was pretty good but they put bacon pieces on the house salad. yuck!
now i'm watching game 7 of the world series and eating candy and drinking soda.

I love giraffes! I wish I had a pet giraffe and I would name it Mr. Giraffe. One time I had a pet elephant and his name was Loyal. I sent him a letter in The Jungle when I was in undergrad but I don't think it made it there. Loyal was cool! There's nothing better than playing with doggie and kittie poop in Parasitology, except maybe looking at all the dead stuff in necropsy. |
