good afternoon everybody.

i had my micro test this morning. i studied pretty good all week and then did lots of review yesterday staying after until 6:15p reviewing w/ dr. troyer and other students. i was all set to come home and eat dinner then go straight back to study more but when i walked in the door i found dog poop in the living room, front room and kitchen. it was a very bad site. i think cleo did it but i'm not sure why. there was also a pee spot. then today i found another pee spot and poop spot.

anyway so last night i ended up trying to clean the spots for awhile but i don't think i got very far. then i ate dinner and watched some tv and then ended up not studying at all and going to bed. i studied for about an hour this morning.

last test the lecture part had an average of about 49 out of 50 points which is extremely high so this time it was definitely harder. i didn't do as well this time; last time i had 50/50. the lab part wasn't too bad but there were some difficult ones. i'm hoping for a B of some sort but that won't help bump my grade to an A.

when i got home i had to clean the carpets. i used jonathan's spot scrubber that he got for his birthday. it just seems hopeless trying to clean up pee. so now i'm all freaked out that the carpets will always stink and it drives me nuts. we'll have to do something else.

jonathan had me save cleo's poop so we can do a fecal and check for worms or whatever. he wants some pee too but that won't be so easy. yesterday it rained so i had to take the dogs out front on the leash so they didn't get all muddy in the backyard. i don't think cleo knows how to go the bathroom on a lease so i think that's why she started doing it yesterday. now i'm afraid she'll keep doing it since no one has actually caught her in the act.

tonite i'm going to a wet lab for the emergency club. i forget exactly but we'll learn, stuff about endotrach tubes, etc. i'll tell you more after the meeting.

i have no set plans for the weekend except to meet w/ my gross anatomy tutor for the first time tomorrow night i think. i need someone to get me to study and also someone who knows where things are so i don't have to waste lots of time wondering if i'm looking at the right structure.

otherwise i should study for my physiology test next friday.

happy friday!

QUOTES

It's better to burp and bear the shame than not to burp and bear the pain.

Grandpa Martin, RIP

Keep your wits about you.

Dr. Wally Cash, DVM

If the present sucks, then look to the future.

RobReed, BadBoy

Well, I want to try everything in life.

Heather Rose Martin, CFG (crazy freak girl)

In the book of life there's only two women, big ol' good ones and good ol' big ones.

Ice Cube, HipHopper

I'd rather have a terrorist standing next to me than a Frenchman. (~15 min. later) Oh, I forgot about that, that's another reason I don't like the French, they eat horses.

Dr. Dee Griffin, DVM

Think about it. Sometimes people are just destined, destined to do, what they do. And that's what it is. Now everybody dance.

Justin Timberlake, Hottie!

Even in medicine, though it is easy to know what honey, wine and hellebore, cautery and surgery are, to know how and to whom and when to apply them so as to effect a cure is no less an undertaking than to be a [veterinarian].

Aristotle, 384-322 BC

Going to Kansas for Vet School is like going to the Special Olympics to play chess.

RobReed, BoyGenius

Now you can either stand around here eatin' jambalaya or you can come upstairs and eat my ass!

Brian Kinney, QAF Hottie!
